Public Action, Athens, 2025
Two years ago, the exhibition space PS: lost their space at the former Communitism premises on Kerameikou 28 — and with it, the PS: Pussy Bar, a sanctuary of sensation, defiance, and celebration. Since then, PS: has found a refuge at Sehenswürdigkeiten, where ideas danced, boundaries dissolved, and everything felt possible. On May 30 2025 the bar moved again to a new home.
A mobile performance by Lia Giannakou combines live action, conversation, gesture, sound, and shared rituals. Beginning at Sehenswürdigkeiten, Aristotelous 130, a bar travels approximately 5 km across Athens toward the Athens School of Fine Arts on Pireos Avenue 256. Passengers become participants, invited to interact as they would in a real bar, blurring the boundaries between everyday life, audience, and performance.
