Lia Giannakou graduated from the Drama School of the National Theatre of Northern Greece. She is a performer and activist based in Athens, and a self-taught visual artist. In her work, she raises questions about what is important in life and is mainly inspired by artistic practices emerging from and responding to collective actions. She has developed her own manifesto on “Constructualism”, defining an approach to human presence in the arts and across diverse ecosystems.
